What a beauty, there was a similar one on site on the New Forest in June but it wasn't anywhere near this standard.

Glen you only gave me two hours to totally rethink our vehicle strategy, raise 15K+, change our lives, and give the neighbours yet another thing to raise their eyebrows about

More notice next time please. What a beautiful, beautiful vehicle!

              Lovely isn't it.

There were some old Citroen vans on a site we were at last year, along with teardrop caravans being towed by old 2CVs and Dyanes. I think it must have been a club of some sort.

I lent my Dyane to a friend - it did not look the same when it came back!

We always used to call them "pregnant rollerskates" when I was younger, 'cos of the shape!! Didn't they used to have stripey, deckchair style seats too and could cleverly go around corners on 2 wheels!!!

                    £15k was pretty spot on.
If you think that in five years time it will be worth the same money or slightly more, the sense in buying this kind of thing shines through compared with the cliff-like depreciation of a new 'van.
You have to be dedicated to your cause though, lots of maintenance and keeping on top of things.
No issue at all with spares, lots of parts re-manufacturers out there.

Those Citroen H vans may look quirky but they are not much fun to live with, slow, noisy and not exactly solid. I can think of many other classic vans which would make a more pleasant companion.

This one did look a nice example though I must admit.

This one is much more my cup of tea

Super rare vehicle and I still think the Standard Atlas/Leyland 20 is the prettiest van ever made. This Jennings version is not so pretty as the campers that used the normal Atlas body with a pop top roof but its added rarity makes up for it.

                          Just lovely.

You would really have to know a lot about mechanics and body work to go this route - but I envy those who have that knowldege
