    Worth Saving?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-TR...item2579ccbef7

This old girl is looking sorry for herself but seems to be enough there to be worth rescuing. If it stays cheap might even just be worth it for the interior to transplant in to another van.
Better a rainy day on the hill than a sunny day in the office!

    It won't stay that cheap.

It's in much better condition than my Autosleeper Frisky was, 4 years newer, got an MOT till September and Tax - mine sold for £1,171 without Tax or MOT 18 months ago.

    Autosleepers really hold their value.

      A most remarkable survivor!
Very few Trafics seemed to last beyond their 5th birthday.
It will be interesting to see if anyone feels it is worth a bigger bid.

I could fancy a project myself but things are a little precarious at the moment so i think its probably wiser to keep my assets fluid. Nice motor for someone though, or at least it could be!

To be honest the problem with projects is they often take far longer than you think, the price would have to be right.
As regards taking the insides out I would personally buy a newer crash damaged caravan as I feel it would look better as no matter what you do nothing ever fits straight in

these were nice popular vehicles in their day, 20 years ago,but it seems to be a runner and the wear is not too serious. The inside is nice and the accessories are probably ok. Someone is going to get a nice campervan for not a lot,and it should be ok for a few more years.
