Welcome to the forum first of all.
I am no expert in boot jump type arrangements but luckily we have plenty of people on this forum who are and no doubt they will be along shortly. A good starting point is to check out the “Cars and vans adapted for Camping” section of the forum - https://community.smallmotorhome.co....ed-for-camping
In there you will find lots of threads about conversions on similar vehicles to yours, both of the ready-made and DIY varieties.
I live near Glossop, so not a million miles away from you in South Yorkshire and I can point you towards a couple of local-ish firms that might be able to help. I should point out however that I have never used any of them so please don’t take this as any sort of recommendation.
The first is Peak Conversions, based near Buxton - http://peakvanconversions.weebly.com...ble-units.html they do a range of conversions but perhaps of interest to you is the “Adventurer” range of removable units, essentially similar to an Amdro Boot Jump but each one is made bespoke to your needs and vehicle rather than being a one size fits all kit like the Amdro. The website says kits start from £650 which is of course still a chunk of money but doesn’t look bad value against the price of the Amdro version. It doesn’t say what you get for that £650 though so it’s hard to judge it properly.
The other one is Firth Campers based at Thurlstone. I have driven past their workshop many times (just on the boundary between Thurlstone and Penistone) but have never been in. Their website says they can create any kind of conversion you like so perhaps worth a phone call? https://www.firthcampers.co.uk/home/
Another option that might be worth a look is this https://www.spacecampervans.com/ I have never seen one in the flesh but the online reviews look pretty reasonable. It is a generic, one size conversion just like the Amdro Boot Jump but a lot more basic and less “polished” which is reflected in the price. They are based in Wales but the unit can be delivered to your door. I can only see a listing however for a unit which fits the Mk1 Kangoo on their website so best to check with them that they can make something which fits your particular vehicle.
Good luck with your search and happy camping.Last edited by Rob B; 13-02-2018, 14:57.Better a rainy day on the hill than a sunny day in the office!

Hello and welcome Anita.
I don't know much about boot jumps either but that one from spacecampervans Rob posted looks good value. You might be able to find someone local who could help you with the fitting which shouldn't be too complicated.
What sort of use do you expect to be making of it? Day trips, overnights or longer trips? For day trips and occasional overnighting it's surprising what can be done with stacking plastic crates.
How many traveling seats and if double or single bed is required are likely to be the factors which dictate your options.

I just looked a bit more at the Space modules. They do a simple version which is only a fold out bed leaving the other side open for storage and to arrange a cooking area. This sort of setup might be the simplest and cheapest to start with and could be modified and added to.

Doesn't look such good value as the more complex units but food for thought perhaps? No fitting required.
I notice that they say their units don't fit 7 seater or wheelchair adapted vehicles but they do go up to MkII 2017 models

And there's always my tent extention which cost me about £30 all in and fits in the top locker when not in use. The back door is held up by two extendable poles and it provides extra under cover space.Attached FilesLast edited by MYKE; 12-02-2018, 18:03.
