I found it when I stopped looking. It's called a OMNIA RECREATION OVEN and you can do casseroles, bread etc in it. This was what I saw a few weeks ago. Costs £34.99.
It's not quite the same as a Remoska as it heats from the bottom and not the top, there is also a large hole in the bottom which means you can't put a joint of meat in there, nevertheless it looks like it could be a good accessory for when there is no electric.
Might try and get one for a prize for a future competition.

Oh you gastronomic geniuses (genii? ). Always looking for Cordon Bleu appliances!
Graham can't you find an automatic sandwich maker prize for me?
Jim.
Keeping people waiting is stealing a part of their lives.

If I could I would Jim. ;)
I think you can make toasted sandwiches in the Remoska, so have a go at winning it when I put the competition up. You never know, you might be the lucky one drawn out of the hat.
Good clear photo of the interior, but I could not understand how it worked till I watched Grahams video link! All is now clear - excellent for giant doughnuts!
