    Lidl tastic gadget.... maybe!

    Hi Folks,
    Have just seen this item coming up soon from Lidl, its one of those things that could be quite useful presuming its weatherproof........ can you hang it near an awning door, stick it over the van hab door, either as an intruder deterent or find your key, awning zipper? Uses inside the van maybe?
    Is 10 seconds long enough?... is it oversensitive? not sturdy enough? (would it make a present?? ) for £6 I might be the first to find out!
    All the best

    Is this today's riddle? If so - I give up.
    Can't even get the link to work!

        Looks ok and for the price it's worth getting anyway.

        Jim: I clicked on the no postal code option and the link came up/ it's a battery operated led light security lamp with a 10 second sensor.

            Here it is, Jim, and here are the salient points:
            * 4 bright, energy-saving LEDs
            * With movement sensor and manual override
            * Switches off automatically after 10 seconds
            * Tool-free installation – simply attach with double-sided adhesive tape (included)
            * Brightness (mcd): 1000-1300 per LED
            * Rated life (hrs): 30000
            * Batteries and instructions included
            * Size approx. (cm): 4.5 x 18 x 3
            * 3 year manufacturer's warranty

            I think I might risk it for a biscuit! Might be useful.. The first thing I thought was how many batteries does it use and how long will they last. I hate batteries!

              First thing I thought was that, round here, it would get nicked! Is fastened on with double sided tape!

              But, on the other hand, at that price well worth at least looking at.

                could you not attach it with velcro or something similar to put up just when parked on a site?

                  Hi Minimouse - yep, you are right! Clever girl. And, anyway, at that price it wouldn't be such a major deal if someone did...er...feel their need were greater than mine!

                    Might be useful for midnight visits to the toilet tent
