    Mystery Gadget

Has anyone got a clue what this is? it was with the plates and cooking stuff I found in my van when I bought it. It doesn't seem to make sense as a trivet or platestand. Whoever bought it hadn't used it much as it was in a plastic bag. No illustrations or userguide though.

It goes on the top of an electric pop up toaster,
To keep your bagels or toast warm while you are toasting a second lot
Failing that purpose, it could be fitted in a bottom shelf to allow more plates ect,.

aaahhhh! Thanks Chocoholic, that makes sense. There is an electric toaster as well.

I doubt if I'll use it much either!

Yes, would make a change from drying them in the oven, eh?

Ok, I'll come clean, if you will excuse the pun. It was something I saw on some dreadful comedy programme years ago - possibly the Young Ones, though not too sure. Sounds a revolting idea!!
