...Or one that will cope with the pavements around here!
I like the japanese stroller better!
Can't find a link to one, but you stand up on them and they have two big wheels and a platform in the middle. They have a handle typ control arm to hang onto as well.

They were at Graves park but having looked at the website - segwaysheffield.co.uk - they have now moved onto Rother valley country park and Clumber park
EDIT;- reading more it does say tours are available at all 3 parks, Graves,RVCP and Clumber.

Wow, makes me wonder just how quickly they will get round to mass production for folk with the kind of disability that this would suit.
However, I think it more likely to be developed and used by those of us who prefer never to get out of a chair and I bet it soon has a food tray and drink holder!!!!!!
Shame for me but it would defeat the object of my three days a week, 8/9 mile walks!!!. Looks great fun and would love to have a go though.
We (4 of us) hired Segways in Salou, Spain and was taken on a city tour which took about an hour and a half....One of the greatest machines i have been on. So easy to master and great fun.... would love one but about £3 grand for the cheepest one i think i will wait for my lottery numbers to come up.
