    Awning for Ford Tourneo Connect

We've just bought a Grand Tourneo Connect (LWB) to use for camping as well as day-to-day transport. It's got a hand fold down seat system that leaves a 2m plus long flat floor, which we can put a mattress on for sleeping.

We're wanting to get some kind of tent or drive-away awning for cooking and storage. But my worry with the awning is rubbing of the car's paintwork. Is there a good way of fixing the link bit to the way that would avoid this? It has integrated rails but they look non-standard.
    Thanks

So long as the awning isn't gritty and the contacting paintwork is clean and waxed it should survive OK. Many years spent riding motorbikes and it takes a long time to wear through the paint on the petrol tank. if really worried then gaffer or masking tape?

Hey All, New to this forum but recently bought a Tourneo Connect '08 and was hoping to find an awning and or driveaway tent that passed your collective approval. Any thoughts?
