    Kronings camper belt

Hi, I'm considering substituting my current jockey wheel for a Kronings camper belt. Does anyone have any experience of these? Any advice? I have a 2009 Compass Omega 482.
    Many thanks, Rob.

That's a good idea, I haven't seen them before but certainly looks useful
Better a rainy day on the hill than a sunny day in the office!

Hi Rob , good to see another caravanner posting here!

I haven't seen one of these camping belts before and, like you, would love to hear from anyone who has one. I assume, from the spelling on the website that they are imported from the USA.

Nice caravan! Though I assume Compass got gobbled up along with Elddis, by the Hymer group.
        Cynthia,

          Hi and welcome!

I googled those camping belts and they do look as though they might make a caravan more easily moved, more especially on tarmac though. It all depends on the reason you are thinking of fitting one. I tried all sorts of pneumatic tyres for a while, as the ordinary jockey wheel dug a trench into the drive, but eventually I found that a solid extra wide jockey wheel did the trick a lot better than anything else I had tried over the years.
