good Grief! £5,500 for a child's xmas present?????

It says fully towable and it would seem to have a decent towbar hitch on it!

Would be just right for me if it had a pop top roof!

It's a good job my children are too old for this then.

This prompted a memory of a visit to Selfridges when I was a young teenager (I WAS once honestly!). In the toy department was a childs caravan fully furnished and with toy appliances. It was hooked up to adriveable open top model of a VW Beetle to the same scale. I seem to remember the whole lot cost very nearly the same as the real thing.
What fun for kids if mummy and daddy owned something like Chatsworth Park!

Blimey I've never paid that much for any vehicle (prob says a lot about me!) and certainly not for a toy........ There used to be an Elddis mini kids style caravan displayed in the upper window of Quality Caravans in Leicester, its now known as the Leicester Caravan Company, they may still have it!
