This looks like it would make a great Conversion

Citroen are paying homage to the Type H by producing this bodykitted Citroen Jumper Van - Relay in the UK.

The interest and admiring looks our "VW look" attracts says there will be a market - I am surprised Romahome and Howards Citroen have not leapt on the band wagon - or will it not available in the UK?

Wow, they're cute kernowjon ! Pity the film didn't supply any details of spec. Also, I wonder whether they would supply a kit including some extra windows?

"CUTE" - yes the same reaction as our van often gets!

Taking a risk - someone will demand the thread is moved to politics - Maybe either because we drive on the other side of the road or dare I say it - because of Brexit (whispered) It will not be offered over here.
The Japanese custom shops have been doing an H look bodykit for Kei class trucks for a long time.

If I was going to change my truck to either a Suzuki or DFM I was going to get Steve Deakon (who did my front) to do the conversion to an H style.

I like the look, interesting a bit retro but not anywhere close to how a real Type H looks (IMHO) but I guess there will be enough interest to make it a success.

Near €43,000 or about £36,000 fitted to a Citroen Relay. Sounds expensive and which model or specification is not given.

Price from internet today without looking for best deal: http://www.happynewvan.co.uk/product...en_1_vans.html
Citroen Relay 30 BlueHdi 110 6 speed manual L1H1 -List Price: £23,606.00 Our Price £15,842.00

That’s about a third off, I believe 40% discount on list price is possible.

Misted I agree with you on the looks, but I guess it was not intended to be a retro copy as opposed to being a homage with the key features of the HY - separate round headlights, wings, corrugated look.

Expensive yes, I would guess from your figures a fairly basic camper van would be priced at about £70,000 - I am sure someone would buy them as they will be quite rare. In terms of attracting potential buyers at a show, I would have thought it paid a company to produce a one-off use it for shows for a year or maybe more and then sell it recouping the monetary investment.
