Daihatsu hi jetta Johns cross conversion

I am the proud owner of one of these, i love it to bits
A professional conversion carried out, i believe in Sussex, mine is a 1996, everything you need is in there: toilet , sink , smev cooker, calor, electrics, pop top roof full standing height, tiny but beautiful. Anyone else got one?

i got a suzuki carry and it big enough for me cheap tax cheap insurance cheap to run ok it bit tatty but thats the charm of it not all gleaming white, wish i was good or reasonable at wood butchering then iwould do some mods to it,do want to do one which i saving up for ok wont get it done by camper firm but by local chippy as they charge fortunes for units, will usewhat in there with some new bits, but do have idea if you want to throw out some idea of what u want to do

                paying for conversion

Hi, mine was already converted when i bought it 3 years ago, cos it is a pro conversion, it is insured as a small motorhome.. i believe they can be difficult to insure if they are done d.i.y? dont know much about it, but have heard stories.. but have seen some nice jobs done on such, suzuki, and bedford

love my hijet, the japanese make such good vehicles. Very reliable. I love that it can park in a space for a car, is cheap to run , fun to drive and still good enough to sleep in. Inconspicuous too.
