    Plastic bottle caps, re-use them

Dorset Dimension sent me this via an email but she didn't know how to post it on the forum so I have done it for her, brilliant idea thanks for sharing Gail.

How to seal a bag and make it air-tight!
Cut up a disposable water bottle and keep the neck and top,
    as in photo.
Insert the plastic bag through the neck and screw the top – to seal.

The bottle is made to be air-tight, such that water will not leak,
the secret lies with the top and screw!
This is a great idea to share. Good for us and the environment too.
Now you don't have to buy zip-lock bags.
Any type of light plastic bag will do.

This has to be the best storage idea yet! Well done Gail and now can you find a way of getting to the meet and ousting the Work thingy.

Gail, just brilliant, the simplest things are best, I like it, made three,

What a great idea I'm going to use that in my home fridge and freezer as soon as I have an empty milk container.

          Most brilliant. seagrub.

Ooh never thought of that one! That's very clever!!

I have used plastic bottles in the past though, most recently used half of one (the top end) as a disposable funnel... also used the bottom end of them for vases and containers for draining stuff into!
