Colin has asked me to put on this press release:

What have Eastenders, Microsoft Windows, the Dolly Parton theme park
'Dollywood' and the Roma Club in common?
Answer: They are all celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year and they
are all still successful in doing what it says on the tin - bringing
together people for entertainment, information and friendship.
Over 120 Romahomes were gathered at the 25th Annual Meet of the Roma Club at
Comberton, near Cambridge in May. With a brass band, coach trip, boot sale,
quiz and a Blues Brothers Tribute there was always something going on, if
the two hundred or so people had time out from meeting old friends and
making new ones. Everybody joined the Romahome MD and team at their special
lunch and technical sessions, (afterwards renamed 'Snack & Spanners').
Roma Club Chairman, Bill Steers, enthused that few Clubs could have such a
close collaboration with the people who actually designed and built their
motorhomes, and it was a treat to see so many older, treasured vans on show.
"It is a tribute to the quality of construction and the affection for this
iconic motorhome that so many people are still using the Romahome as their
only vehicle. Within the Club we believe we have Owners of just about every
model made by Island Plastics/Romahome, so anyone out there with a van made
by either of them can tap into 25 years of experience."
