    my tired c15d romahome.too rusty???

    i have my romahome someone left to me and it,s great but i was poking around underneath the other day and loads of rusted away rear cross member was crumbling. is there any saviour for this. the camper section is fine but thats plastic it,s 20yrs old h reg. is it ready for the nackers yard. what am i to do with the camper section can,t see any flat bed c15,s knocking about. any takers?

    Just read in another thread on here that the problem you have can be sorted by welding.

    Technically speaking, from what I understand, it's not the done thing to transfer a Romahome C15 onto another chassis and still call it a Romahome - so take the stickers off! LOL!

    I reckon it must save a lot of very decent romahome bodies from going to the scrapyard and that can't be a bad thing - although it is questionable to sell it on as a Romahome.

    It seems the problem you will have is getting the body off in one piece without damaging the structure too much as they were never meant to be separated.
