Romahome in Portugal 4 sale ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROMAHOME-MOTOR...item33640a5cb1

I'd welcome Peter Holden's or similar expert opinions on the above.

I can weld, strip engines do anything more or less but are there hidden things I should know about.

    Rio,
Having read the ebay add carefully,I wouldnt touch it with a bargepole.
Its rust rotten, not a runner, and NOT legal on british roads, why buy trouble,if you want an old wreck to do up look in the small ads,why go to Portugal.
unless you were thinking about living on the beach in it,like some 1960`s hippy. Dont give yourself heartache. forget it.
Young men sow wild oats.Old men grow sage.

Well the seller has been very honest about what's wrong, and Ian's honest opinion I think is a good reflection of what most ppl would think upon reading the description.

Its a long way to go to look and you should never! never! buy an older vehicle without an in depth inspection. My guess is that unless you could repair it there it would need to be brought back to the UK on a trailer.
