Hi Everybody
You may have seen my postings on here as "Reggie's Dad" but our beloved Bambi Reggie. will shortly be put up for sale.
However we have opted for the more ecconomical combination of an 03 plate Suzuki Carry pick-up and a Luton Pod for my work during the week and a demountable Romahome Pod for when we can get away at weekends.
As the pick-up will be boing all of the Donkey Work, we have called him Donk.
Hence the name change !
The Romahome had been bolted to a trailer by the privious owner (I thibk these are called caravans and came without the fixings to mount it on to a pick-up, so had two peice ones manufactured to fit the work pod a well as the Romahome.
These have a 20mm steel pin's that slides into and hold the pod down, and only takes moments to remove.
All i have to do now is practice my reversing !!!
