    Demountable Romahome on Mazda Pickup

Never seen this combination before, demountable Romahome on a Mazda pickup, but I think it fits very well.

The space between cab and "Luton" could be usefully filled as could the spaces around the rear wheels. If well done I think it could look much better.

I guess this could carry one to the Ullapool ferry in less than 4 days

Noticed this box camper body built onto a Suzuki Vitara too but not very impressed.

The Mazda (or its twin) was on Ebay earlier this year. If you read Donk's Dad 's post you will see the Pod will fit on a lot of pick-ups - the limits are hieght of Cab above flatbed and the length of the flatbed. As my partner Sandra AWMBO - pointed out when I looked at a VW Golf type pick-up hieght of flat bed above the road is also a factor.

That looks like the short wheel base, probably with a soft top (making it almost a pick-up if y0u take out the back seats)

A LWB would have been a better option.

My son has had 4 and they are a great little vehicle and virtullay bomb proof.

One sat here for 6 months without being touched and with the battery charged up it started on the 1st turn of the key.
It had done 110K but ran sweet as a nut with no rattles or smoke.

Just for nosiness I looked upn the Mazda's MoT history - I really should not have done that - what a dog - oil leaks, diff casing rusted, drive shaft gaiters shot. - and the price tag is 6K that explains why it is not selling.
