"All our bags are packed, we're ready to go..."

    Well almost!
Nearly everything is in the Romahome waiting for the first trip this weekend.
We just need to pack some clothes and food (what we take to eat is partly dependent on whether the double skillet arrives in time as that will be another new thing to try out).

I've also booked us in for another weekend at the end of June to join our walking group's camping weekend in Anglesey.

What's the weather forecast? Do we care?

      Thanks Andrew

Isle of Wight is on the list for next year. Maybe we can visit!

well here we are in wet Delamere CCC site. We came yesterday afternoon and had a nice walk in the forest, but it has rained all day today so we went to Blue Planet.
But we are very pleased with the R20. And it wouldn't be a proper test run if it was hot & sunny would it?

The doubleskillet arrived late Friday afternoon so we have been able to test that as well.
I cooked salmon fillets with noodles for tea yesterday and bacon & eggs for breakfast and Geoff is currently roasting chicken legs with new potatoes. It smells good already!
So thanks to everyone who recommended the skillet - well worth the money.
We've had a Remoska for a few years and it is comparable to that except the heat is below rather than above the food. We've only ever used it at home though, never camping. Maybe it will be worth trying in the R20 sometime, although it does take up more space when packing.

Home tomorrow, the next trip is at the end of June,
