    curtains Roma Home Duo

I have just dyed the very old and shabby curtains in the van .They are original
    but were very faded.
I found that the Dylon washing machine dye Rosewood Red number 64 was the exact colour.
Looking much better and saved buying new ones.
very very pleased with the results.

Well done! My sis did a similar thing in her caravan as well.

I didn't even try washing the original ones in my caravan as I knew they would fall to bits in the washer! So I had to make new ones. The old ones, looked like they hadn't been washed for years, and were that horrible nylon stuff they had years ago, dirty, brown and smelly. My hands got dirty just taking them down!

I have the bug now looking at things with an eye to what colour I could change them to.

If you want to change a colour, use the Dylon colour stripper first, then Dye.
its a nice way to smarten up.
