    Romahome Duo Hilo awning question

After far too much mud last year I bought myself a lovely 10 year old Duo Hilo. I'm meeting friends at a festival and need an awning for some extra room. Has anyone used a Royal Traveller 4 with a duo hilo?

It seems a reasonable price and has room to sleep to and space to sit. I think it would fit the main shell and allow the pop up roof to sit proud. Any experience anyone?

    How would you attach it?

I see it comes with a pole and clamp attachment kit - these are normally used to attach to the gutter on the side of a panel van conversion.

Like Caz says, that doesn't look very much like it's going to attach to your van. You would be better off with the movelite drive away, as that has methods for attaching to the van. If you are ok about it not being attached, then it's fine... A lot of money though, to leave behind on a festival field if it's as bad as Glastonbury has been some years.

Goodness! Looks big. You also need to factor in how much space and weight allowance it will occupy in your van, not to mention the additional equipment you might be tempted to carry.
        Carpe diem! :)

We have been using a Movelite Square with our R20 lo which was fine but we just got ourselves a Kyam XL awning which is a touch larger and much quicker to erect and pack.
