    A name for my Romini!

Sobby says it SHOULD have a name!
She did not like the name "kiosk" (without "telephone" in front).
How about Minim (um, maybe not)!
    Jim.

My Daughter calls mine the 'Pet Carrier' as she says that it looks like something that you take the cat to the vet in.
I call my Romini the 'Pod' but if a better name that suits her comes up I would rename her.
I still can't believe the interest that's generated when I pull up at shows or services and the amount of photographs that get taken by other caravaners.

              I quite like that Glen!
Not being very modern myself, and "half pint" does sound rather better than 284ml (or ccs.)

We have a demountable which we call the camper pod and a box unit for work which as you would all have guessed we call the works pod !

These are carried by "Donk" our trusted 1.3 Suzuki carry, and before anyone asks Donk is short for Donkey, as he does all of the work.

A friend suggested that we should that we should have called the set up Thunderbird Two

I think I shall rethink the names of my vans... Well especially the ones that I'm keeping

Possible! But I am glad you did not mention Speed Twin! I already have THREE of those. Although one is not ready for the road yet.

My usual tow car IS essentially Triumph, but it is a GENTRY in its re-incarnated form of almost the last 30 years. I have been trying to think of something synonymous with "Gentry" without any luck.

I think IT IS going to be Bonnie from now on!

                        Jim.

Not the reply I expected Sobby!
I rather thought you might point out that having THREE Triumph Speed Twin motorbikes is as bad as having three Rominis. Or perhaps even worse, Considering each is worth over twice as much as a Romini and I blame poverty as my excuse for not attending more meets.
Ah well, we can only spend our cash once. But we would both be better off if we followed Pam's advice and collected more affordable things!

                              Just another (silly) thought.........
If Pam lived a little further North she could call her Romini "Clyde". Then perhaps Bonnie and Clyde could meet up somewhere.
                              Jim.
