The more I look at this and compare the measurements, It seems that the front height of the Sunncamp and the rear of the C15 Hylo with the roof up, are within 4 inches of each other. Maybe not insurmountable?

The front of the Ranch is 205cm peak height and the raised Hylo roof is 215cm. Damn close. 4 inches in old money. A finger length, if you like. If I pull the Ranch legs in a bit to make them upright, will I gain 4 inches and still be able to peg the front of the Ranch down? Or do I remove the little extension poles on the Ranch and squeeze the remaining short extended canvas over the top of the rear of the Hylo? I've 'encouraged' the canvas extension up a bit and it seemed to be loose enough to squeeze upwards. Food for thought......

The next objective then wuld be to insert 2 zips either side of the kitchen extension, on the existing seams, to create another entrance, which would then either roll up or form a canopy with 2 poles. It's only 5ft high, but that doesn't really matter for what I would gain. TVS in Bolton could do this work, I'm sure.

Then I would have a bespoke drive away awning for Hettie and a stand alone frame tent.

    Curiouser and curiouser.

I'll have a play after me holiday.

Well, I have booked in to the Canterbury C+CC site for Saturday and Sunday nights to shake down the Sunncamp. Very excited! It's only half an hour from me and I'll have the camper with me anyway, so if it all goes wrong, it doesn't matter......

I have also ordered a cheap tarp with a pole to see if I can form a sun canopy on the front, as well. 😁 I can also do some measurements then, to see how it matches the camper.

I couldn't get in on the Friday, so I've booked a couple of lieu hours off work Monday morning and I'll come straight from the site in to work. It was a little over £15 for a basic grass pitch for 2 nights with their 30% grass pitch discount. Can't complain at that!
