Wildcamping in the Newby Bridge area

    Hi all

We wanted to break our journey home from Cheshire in July in the Newby Bridge area of the Lake District

Does anyone have recent experience of "wildcamping" in the area for the night? Preferably somewhere with access to loos in the morning?

    Thanks

    Mike & Jane

The NOMAD site http://nomadgb.co.uk reckons 3 possibilities just south and more beyond

    54.24894,-3.036142 long layby
54.246739,-3.092505 small spot country lane remote... might be a bit sloping
54.226335, -3.052426 coastal... could be nice apart from the height barrier!

The middle one gets my vote but if you venture further afield there may be better to be had

Explore NOMAD, play with the little yellow man / streetview. Copy/Paste these lat-long coordinates into google maps search bar and have a look.
