    Exmoor

There are loads of pull offs on Exmoor, you just need to explore some of the roads to find them. I've overnighted on loads of them, but try County Gate Car Park. There are public toilets - clean ones! You can get fresh water from the sink taps. I drink it and I'm still alive!
It's so easy to find on the A39 from Porlock to Countisbury, on a right hand bend there's an obvious car park on the left. Information Point and cafe`.
But please remember LEAVE NO TRACE.

And remember Jim don't go walkabout and get lost, our son would get called out, he lives in your hometown.

I know it well and have parked in it often, although never over-nighted there.

Good views too overlooking the valley.

Not likely to get lost on Exmoor. It's not big enough for that but it's good to know your lads there for broken ankles etc. They do a grand job.
The views are to die for! I awoke the other morning near Sister's Well after seeing a million stars over a chilly night.
Not a problem when you've a big hairy Golden Retriever to cuddle up to!
Enjoy your life. You won't get a second chance.
