    heater romahome

    Hi
My hot water is on all the time when we use our romahome van even when the switch is set to off. Is this normal? When the cab heater is on, the van steams up and a smell like antifreeze leaking appears but there doesn't seem to be a leak. This has only recently started happening. Any ideas please?

    Hi Johnboy.
Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been away for a few days.
If your heater/hot water system is an early one, 99 ish, then the heater has an engine jacket and every time you drive the vehicle the hotwater will heat up. The heater should only work if you switch the heater fan on. That early system always used water( coolant) and was very hard to find which particular joint leaked, I always put a coolant "Stop leak" in them when I service them.
    Thanks
    Ant
