    Hi Cas.
A "G" reg Romahome had a smoked top Fiamma roof vent originally, sadly they are no longer available and a later vent will need to be fitted. All the later vents are very slightly bigger and will require a slightly bigger hole. I would change to the MPK intergrated 4 way vent as it doesn't need to be riveted to the roof ( the problem being the old rivet holes never lined up). Any caravan/motorhome accessory place could supply it.

Thanks Ant .... will get onto it, as soon as Roma gets back from having rear suspension done at last

        .................................................. .............

        Update
We got a roof vent from ebay - 4 way opening and blackout over - done a fantastic job of fitting it - BRILLIANT

Went out on first trip on the motorway and thought the van was about to fall apart - the noise was horendous - our lovely new vent vibrated like mad and we thought it was about to take off

As we were off on a 795 mile round trip (left at 1:30am) - some quick thinking was needed - played music really loud till first Tesco's (we knew of on route and 2hrs from home) - folded a thick towel into carrier bag and shoved up inside the vent - kept in place with thick cardboard from Tesco held in place with masking tape
Worked a treat - peace and quiet at last

Now we are trying ways to keep it quiet - any idea welcome

          Cas.
Are you sure the vent is locked down properly? Has it got the pegs in the handle to lock it? I've had a few new ones sent without the locks fitted.
If you've got the locks and they're engaged, then you'll probably need to put some draught excluder on the edge of the vent where it touches when shut.

We believe it to be a caravan vent (didn't enter our heads there maybe a difference) ... identical to our caravan except newer

The top has double skin dome - the inner dome has vented grid, the holes are big enough to put finger thro - it is that what vibrates

            Hope that makes sense
