    Hi carole

I'm guessing your demountable is still on the Bedford rascal base vehicle?? If so I just googled rascal exhaust and this was the first result that came up. I'm sure you will be able to it sorted.

      Hi Carole.
If you're having trouble getting an exhaust you must have an original Honda Acty under your demountable. Sadly bits are now very difficult to get for the early Actys, the exhaust could be made up for you by an exhaust centre with them copying whats there. Without cat's etc it fairly simple to make up for someone who knows how.
      Thanks
      Ant

Our demountable was on a daihatsu but it had been fitted with a custom made stainless steel exhaust by the previous owner. He had taken it to a local specialist to him to have it made, I recall him saying it was also re-routed for some reason too, perhaps to stop it emitting straight onto the Romahome body??

My Bedford Rascal had a similar custom made exhaust... it looked like a bit of hoover pipe actually! It was fastened onto the main part of the exhaust with jubillee clips, and I think the original rusted away as the water from the sink exited just above. So this was re-routed a bit so it wasn't in direct line and came out just in front of the back wheel on the passenger side. I thought it was peculiar, but it passed 3 MOT's, so it must have been a good compromise!

Or if it is a Honda Acty try Tony ( http://www.actyvan.net/ ) on 07974 570235 he has a wide selection of spares.. and if he hasn't got I am sure he can tell you where to get it or what to fit instead. (Has helped me loads already with mine) good luck, Sonya

The exhaust for the Romahome is probably much the same as the exhaust for the Bambi.

As the base vehicle is always a pick-up, the exhaust tail pipe finishes short (just behind the lower kitchen area) and needs to be extended!
