    water pump

I took my van for a test run at the weekend.
I think the water pump is broken. I can hear a click when I turn on the tap but no water is pumped thru.
I have checked the fuses in the engine compartment.
Does anyone have any suggestions before I start taking things to bits?
    Thanks, Barry...................

PS all other systems are working so I've definately got power.

Barry, is your Romahome a C15, Dimension, Duo, Outlook, R10, R20, R25, R30, R40? Romahome make/made lots of vans. The make might help diagnose the problem.

Having said that, probably the pumps are all the same, so I will shut up now.

            Hi Barry.
Your pump may well have been frozen and split in the very cold spell we had, but before going out to get a replacement I would just check the tap switch. I know you could hear a click at the tap but sadly that does not mean it has made contact. Those tap have a habbit corroding on the contacts. To test the pump and tap switch, turn the tap on, reach into the wardrobe behind the sink and you'll see the wires coming up to the tap, connect the two rising wires together ( effectively bypassing the switch), if your front is now getting wet, the switch is U/S and the pump is fine.
