Could this be a possible solution for the low overhang on R25?
The ability to jack it up before loading on ferries.

    Hi Tony.
I don't think you'll have too much trouble with your R25 unless you've got the bike rack fitted which might lower it a bit. Air suspension has its uses with the larger vehicles that take a heavier load but it's not all as simple as it sounds. I've not seen a system that holds its air indefinately and most need to be kept topped up on a regular basis, failure to do so will damage the bags very quickly. It's not unusual to have to top them up every 3 weeks or so. The manufacturers don't admit to the problem and blame the fitter, but having fitted a few in my time it doesn't matter how careful you are they leak air from somewhere. I would try your new van first, remembering not to over load it which seems to be a fairly common trait of the Romahome owner! If you find things aren't working for you then address the problem then with the help of Romahome.
