    leisure battery

We have a roma duo and would like to ask how do we know if the leisure battery is charging when the engine is running ? Derek has found a switch but we dont know if its on or off and also, is it okay to leave it switched on all the time? Thank you.

If it has a Zig controller like in the pic, put the left hand switch to the caravan.
With the engine off the volts should be about 12V. Start the engine and the volts should go up to about 14V after a minute or so. If you leave the switch on either car or leisure batt the meter will draw a very slight current.

      Hi Pendel.
The leisure battery charges automatically on a Duo, it doesn't matter where the switches are. Once the alternator light goes out when you've started the engine a relay will effectively join the two batteries together.

Thanks for that Ant. I kinda guessed it worked like that but just wanted to be sure.
