Hi,I am about to have 4 new tyres fitted, to my berlingo Roma Home + would it be a idea to fit ..
larger higher tyres? present tyres are 165/70/14/6ply it looks rather under
tyred at moment..Your comments would be much appreciated

Make sure that any tyres you buy are commercial van tyres. Can't comment on whether you can get bigger ones (someone will be along late who might know about this!), but definately go for commercial, not car tyres.

I must agree with jay jay jay. van tyres are the way to go. Stowmarket Caravans stuck a set of cheap car tyres on my romahome in order to sell it off quick and now our local tyre dealer says they are illegal.

So commercial heavy duty tyres it should be.

Beware of dealers in Stowmarket selling caravans, stick with Avon's Ant

Hi Tommy.
The 165/70 14 tyre is the correct one to use, if you think it looks under tyred then fit the 8ply rather than the 6ply. I have to say tho' I would just check you're not taking too much stuff with you ( like most Romahome owners!), that is over loading the back axle.
