Hello, I have been a member for some time but I have never posted before even though I like to look through the posts. We have a romahome dimension and I found your tips great (especially the one concerning storage in the bathroom). Thank you

    Hi Jinnyn

Welcome to the forum, glad you are finding our tips useful, we love our Dimension, they are great vans.

Now you have broken the ice and created a post you will have to come on more often as you have probably seen it is a very friendly place with lots of knowledgeable people.

        Thank you

Thank you for your replies. I intend posting more often. I was interested in your advice for travelling in France as my husband (Martin) and myself (Jean) have fancied going for a couple of years but we feel very apprehensive about doing it. I would like to hear other people's experiences on this.

It wasn't intentional but rather appropriate as you say.

I see the snow has arrived with you down south, its in all the papers and on the television, it hardly got a mention when us northerners had it a few weeks back.

Still no snow here but blooming cold.

We take our Romahome to France a couple of times each year, so dont be frightened to ask questions.

Naturaly snow in the deep South is a newsworthy event as it rarely happens, and us softies are not used to it, that's why so many Northerners retire down here! At Poole we seem to have our own climate, often there can be snow a few miles out East, West and North but none here. Although a small island it's amazing the different weather we get from North to South. I had never seen a real pea souper fog until I lived in Peterborough!

                      Come off it Graham.

At the end of November, just when we were preparing to leave for a 10 day break "up north", down came the white stuff in the north east and along the yorkshire coast and the papers and radio was FULL OF IT. (Can't speak for the idiot's lantern, we don't have one of them )

So much so that we cancelled the trip

Anyway, I didn't think that you were exactly "northeners", I thought somewhere about middle England, I might be wrong, sorry if I am.

I admit we are not in the true frozen north, we are in the Midlands but anyone North of Watford Gap is a northerner, according to you southern softies.
