    Newbie

    Hi All

Newbie from Bromley here, I am into VW campers and vintage caravans and usually underneath one of mine when not driving buses for a living! I restore my own vehicles and the odd upholstery job if required. i am pretty useful for advice and help and will chip in if I can help out. You may see me on other sites using the same username as I am on a few.

Nice to find a different forum for chatting.

    Regards
    Nik

Hi Nik, Welcome from me too!

We have at least one regular forum member who is into vintage caravans but he's away touring in France at the moment. I'd love something vintage but as I'm useless at fixing things I need, from a financial point of view to stick to something modern - ish. (A 1996 Bailey 380/2)

Do post some photos, I'm sure you'll get lots of interest from other forum members.
        Cynthia.

I never really thought about at what age caravans become "vintage", but I would think many of the Rominis in the list maintained by Pamsical ,ay well qualify.

Welcome nic. I also puzzle about 'vintage' and 'classic'. I think there is an official definition in the various vintage/classic motorbike clubs. To be vintage I think a thing has to be pre-1920 something and as for classic, if you look at ebay some people think their terribly valuable 2003 Escort is classic. I have a 1992 car and wondering if it is classic. Certainly, the supposed specialist make garages I have taken it to can't cope because it doesn't have a computer they can plug into.

Hello and welcome Nik. I too belong to another site and have a 60's Sprite Alpine. Currently loving a Romini and enjoying the valuable comardarie on this site. Enjoy.

And "Rare" usually means the spotty teenage oik on eBay has never seen one in his street before.
